The Singapore Badminton Association (SBA) held a function yesterday at the Temasek Club to thank 22 corporate donors, who collectively donated $500,000to the national sports association.

Among them, OUE Limited, also the title sponsor of the Singapore Open, contributed the biggest sum of $200,000.

Also, proceeds of sales of the Brand Bull Run book, pre-launched by the Louken Group yesterday, will go towards SBA’s player development programmes.

SBA president Lee Yi Shyan said: “I am very grateful to our business partners for embracing Singapore badminton.

“I would also like to thank the Louken Group for initiating this idea of donating their book launch proceeds to support our player development programmes.

“Together, we hope more people will play badminton and more of our players will excel at international tournaments.”
