Over just four days, Nova Now drew over 6,000 attendees—from regional VIPs and media to brand fans and trade professionals—a vibrant atmosphere of excitement and discovery.

The pop-up gallery debuted six up-and-coming Singapore brands in Senayan City, Jakarta’s premier style and lifestyle destination. From Feb 27 to March 2, 2025, an immersive shopping experience that thrilled crowds with limited edition collections and first-to-market exclusives from homegrown heroes The Paper Bunny, Mighty Jaxx, Young Hungry Free, GINLEE Studio, GRAYE, and Epitex.

The Birth of a Star

More than a showcase, Nova Now was a strategic launchpad offering Singapore’s homegrown brands seeking to internationalise a low-risk, high-impact way to assess market readiness.

A major milestone of the Lighthouse Brand Accelerator Programme, Nova Now brought a bold vision to life: empowering local brands to scale globally. Lighthouse taps into more than two decades of building iconic brands, developed by venture builder Louken in partnership with Enterprise Singapore, Singapore’s government agency for supporting local enterprises.

Designed as a real-time lab for validating brand positioning and refining product offerings, Nova Now brought brands the opportunity to gain invaluable market insights firsthand and build commercial traction before full-scale entry.

Bridging the gap between planning and execution with short-form market exposure, Nova Now was a springboard into Southeast Asia’s vibrant and ultra-competitive retail landscape, setting brands up for smarter, more confident expansion into Indonesia and beyond.

Bringing Singapore’s hitmakers to Indonesia for the first time, an exciting activity lineup made Nova Now more than a shopping experience. Fun, family-friendly programming, complimentary skin analysis sessions, and a lively Colour Analysis Talk Show brought up the energy and kept it high.

Nova Now generated six-figure sales in SGD, a PR campaign value of over SGD 2 million, over 100 social media posts reaching more than one million accounts, and 40+ features in top media outlets like Kompas, The Jakarta Post, CXO Media, JKTGO, and Liputan6.

While locals got a taste of life and style from the little red dot, featured merchants walked away with insights into their own brands, what already works and what to work on.

Some observations shared: when entering a new market, partnering with trusted local names can take consumer trust to the next level and get people through the door; Indonesian shoppers especially love Singapore’s lifestyle brands; hands-on experiences for retail environments, such as skin consultations and colour analysis, are always popular.
