Event Recap: “Maximise Visibility & Conversions with AI-Driven Brand Growth”
As technology continues to evolve, many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are asking the same question: How can we stay visible and relevant in a rapidly shifting landscape?
That question was front and centre at the “Maximise Visibility & Conversions with AI-Driven Brand Growth” session, organised by SME Centre@SMF and hosted at Mapletree Business City. The event brought together business owners, marketers, and entrepreneurs keen to understand how AI can be paired with strong branding to unlock growth.
Representing Louken, our CEO Haoming Lee delivered a keynote session focused on the fundamentals of brand-led growth in an AI-enabled world.
“AI is powerful, but business principles still matter. Branding sets the sail, so when the right wind comes, you're ready to move.”
While AI tools offer speed and scale, Haoming reminded attendees that branding remains the strategic anchor that gives direction to any growth effort. Without clarity of brand purpose, even the most advanced tools risk amplifying noise instead of creating traction.

The session also highlighted three key principles SMEs should keep in mind:
- Start with clarity, not campaigns – Know your brand essence before spending on ads.
- Build meaning, not just market share – Great brands stand for something beyond their products.
- Protect your brand DNA as you scale – Every new market, SKU, and partnership must stay aligned.
We were especially encouraged by the many business owners who shared that the session gave them a fresh perspective—moving from seeing branding as just a logo, to recognising it as their unique core competitive advantage.
At Louken, we’re committed to helping founders and SMEs build brands that are not only seen—but truly understood and trusted. We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting more businesses across Singapore and Southeast Asia as they grow with clarity, strategy, and purpose.
