Why Mentoring Matters to Us at Louken

Louken Group had the incredible honour of serving as the Event Experience Partner for the National Mentoring Summit 2024. This year’s theme, “Mentoring Matters,” resonates deeply with us—not just as a message, but as a principle that shapes how we lead, build, and grow.

At Louken, we believe that great brands are built not only through strategy but through people. Behind every empowered individual stands a mentor—someone who opens doors, offers guidance, and inspires belief. That’s why mentorship sits at the heart of our purpose: to create brand experiences that spark change and serve communities.

While designing and executing the summit experience, we saw firsthand how mentorship transforms lives. It’s not only about career progression; it’s about nurturing leaders grounded in purpose and committed to service.

Minister of State Alvin Tan, the summit’s Guest of Honour and Mentoring SG advisor, captured it perfectly:

The fireside chat with seven-time Paralympic champion Yip Pin Xiu inspired everyone in the room. Her story reminded us that leadership starts with courage, and that mentorship often provides the spark.

We feel proud to support this national platform that champions mentorship. More than that, we’re grateful to be part of a community that believes in growing people, not just profits.
