It was an incredible honour for Louken Group to serve as the Event Experience Partner for the National Mentoring Summit 2024. This year’s theme, “Mentoring Matters” holds deep meaning for us, not just as a message, but as a principle that guides how we lead, build, and grow.
At Louken, we believe that brands are built not only on strategy, but on people, and behind every empowered individual is a mentor who opened a door, offered guidance, or inspired belief. This is why mentorship aligns so closely with our purpose: to create brand experiences that spark change and serve communities.
As we designed and executed the summit experience, we were reminded of the transformative power of mentorship. It’s not just about career progression; it’s about growing leaders who are anchored in purpose and driven by service.
Minister of State Alvin Tan, the event’s Guest of Honour and Mentoring SG advisor, said it best:
“Mentoring matters because it serves as the bridge between today’s actions and tomorrow’s success. It can impact our corporates, our communities, and our country.”
And the fireside chat with seven-time Paralympic champion Yip Pin Xiu was nothing short of inspiring. Her journey reminded all of us that leadership begins with courage, and that mentorship can be the spark that sets it in motion.
We are proud to have contributed to this national platform that champions mentorship, and even prouder to be part of a community that believes in growing people, not just profits.
A heartfelt thank you to Glenn Lim, Kelvin Kong, May Yee, Chui, Koh Kim Neo, and the Mentoring SG team for entrusting us with this meaningful collaboration. It was a pleasure to work with like-minded partners to bring this vision to life.
To every mentor, mentee, and movement-builder, thank you for doing the work that truly matters. Let’s keep the momentum going.
